Police: Suspects arrested after woman finds stolen car

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Wichita police arrested two men after a woman reported her car stolen. It happened around 11:30 a.m. at 10th and Pershing.

Police said a woman recently returned from vacation to find her car stolen. As she was driving, her stolen car drove past her. She called 911 and followed the car as she provided directions to authorities.

“I was driving north on Oliver. I saw the car pass me. I was like that’s my car. It had the same bumper, stickers, and tinted windows, and I said that’s my car. So, I started following them and telling them were they were going,” said Kiara Stuckey, victim.

Police arrived and confronted the suspects at the home.

“When they saw officers, one of the individuals ran. The other was taken into custody without incident,” said Officer Charley Davidson.

Police eventually arrested the other man.
