Two arrested in fatal stabbing


WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Wichita police said two people are in custody in connection to a stabbing that has left an 86-year-old man dead. It happened around 3:40 p.m. on Friday.

Officers were dispatched to a home in the 800 block of North Chautauqua to investigate after the victim was found dead inside with multiple stab wounds. He has been identified by police as Otto Meyer.

An 18-year-old woman, identified as Yvonne N. Mosqueda, was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail for suspicion of murder and robbery. A 28-year-old man, identified as Boe W. Adams, was booked for suspicion of murder, robbery, forgery, and resist.

On Saturday, police announced they found the stolen Chevy truck in connection to the incident near Lawrence Dumont Stadium.
