Two injured in stabbing on South Hydraulic

Wichita police said two people were injured in a stabbing early Friday. It happened just after 1 a.m. in the 800 block of South Hydraulic.

Police found three women and a man inside the apartment.

The 36-year-old man was taken to the hospital with a wound to his stomach. A 29-year-old woman was stabbed in the leg. Both lived in the apartment. Police said their injuries are considered non-life- threatening.

Police said the fight and stabbing happened when the man asked a 24-year-old woman to leave.

“The 24-year-old female and the 29-year-old female are involved in a relationship,” said officer Charley Davidson, Wichita Police Department.

The 24-year-old woman was booked on suspicion of disorderly conduct and domestic violence.
