DERBY, Kan. (KSNW) - The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Department on Monday identified the man and woman in a murder-suicide Saturday near Derby. It happened in the 10100 block of East 63rd Street South at around 5:30 p.m.
They are 33-year-old Kristin Leigh Floria-Gile and 33-year-old Randy Dean Gile II.
Sedgwick County Sheriff's deputies and Derby police found three vehicles when they arrived. Kristin Gile and Randy Gile II were found dead at the scene. Kristin Gile's father, 55-year-old Richard Floria, received minor injuries during the shooting. Detectives said they discovered that Randy shot his wife Kristin and then shot himself.
The sheriff's department said the investigation is still active.

There is a viewing on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road in Derby. The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.at st. Mary Catholic Church, 2300 E. Meadowlark in Derby.

Authorities are investigating a double fatal shooting near Derby.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the 9000 block of East 63rd Street South. It is between Rock and Greenwich Road.
Authorities said a man and woman died. They are both in their 30's. The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Department said the man and woman were in separate vehicles, and they believe they are related.
"We believe there was a shooting that occurred out on the roadway. At this point, we are trying to investigate to figure out what happened. We don't believe anyone is outstanding. We believe the confrontation that took place is confined to this area," said Capt. Brad Hoch, Sedgwick County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities are still interviewing witnesses.
Officials said 63rd Street between Rock and Greenwich will be closed for several hours.
