Police report a 68-year-old man died following a disturbance in south Wichita Friday night. The incident occurred in the 1600 block of South Erie.
Police arrested a 53-year-old man at 10:30 Saturday morning. Otis Johnson has been booked into jail on suspicion of first-degree murder.

Officers were called to a report of a cutting where they found Leroy Hudson of Wichita in the street. He suffered fatal injuries.
Davidson said the investigation into the incident revealed the victim was driving his 2003 black Chevrolet Z71 Silverado pickup northbound on Erie. The truck stopped and a disturbance ensued between the victim and a suspect. The victim was stabbed multiple times by the suspect who then fled in the victim’s truck.
Officers recovered the victim’s Silverado in the 300 block of west 32nd Street South. They made the arrest after a citizen called 911 telling authorities the location of the pickup truck.
Police said the homicide was 21st in Wichita this year.
