Vandal causes over $7,000 in damage at Salina school

SALINA, Kan. (KSNW) – Salina police tell KSAL News that vandals caused over $7,000 in damage to a school.

Police were called to South High School, 730 E. Magnolia Road, for a property damage report. It was discovered that someone had taken a large container of sanitizer and dumped it on the floors and walls. The sanitizer ate through a finish on the floor.

Damage is estimated at $7,250. Police said they are reviewing surveillance video.
