A judge has sentenced a Wichita man to life in prison for shooting and killing a man during a drug deal back in 2015

Emmanuel Crosby was found guilty on 10 counts, including first-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder.

The families of the victims say this brings them closure.

“They’ve been waiting three years for this and I can say we took a big loss,” said Duane Scott, the father of David Ingram. “I lost my only son and it’s hard. It hurts.”

David Ingram was 23 years old when he was killed. Police say Ingram was sitting in the front passenger and was shot in the back of the head. The shooting was a result of drugs.

The defense did ask the judge for a new trial, but the motion was denied.
