Wichita police arrest three in stolen car

Wichita police arrested three people in a stolen Honda early Friday morning. 

It started in the 6100 block of West Kellogg when officers attempted to stop the car. The car accelerated and fled from police. 

A short pursuit ensued until the car drove into a ditch at K-42 and Tyler.

Three were taken into custody for various violations. 

Police said the driver, 28-year-old Bryant Markley, was arrested on suspicion of felony evade and elude, auto theft and traffic charges. 

Two passengers, 32-year-old Carlton Kemp and 22-year-old Mackenzie Ayala, were arrested on warrants and other violations.

The case will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney.
