Wichita police to hold DUI checkpoint Saturday night

The Wichita Police Department will conduct a DUI sobriety checkpoint Saturday night into early Sunday morning. 

The checkpoint is funded by the Kansas Department of Transportation and is intended to identify intoxicated drivers.

Police advise those who have been drinking to use a designated driver, Uber or taxi service.
