A Kansas woman who was convicted in separate attacks on two of her family members has been sentenced for her crimes.
Kerri Telford, 26, of Wichita, has been sentenced to 126 months in prison.
Telford pled guilty to aggravated battery of her 52-year-old mother and attempted second-degree murder of her 90-year-old grandfather. Both incidents happened in 2017.
Her grandfather, a 90-year-old man, nearly died after Telford attacked him with a knife. Telford was living with the man at the time.
Telford will be required to register as a violent offender when she is released from prison.
