Hundreds attend Kansas Humane Society’s Woofstock

Hundreds of people spent the day with their pooches at the 22nd annual Woofstock.

The event is the Kansas Humane’s Society’s biggest fundraiser of the year. It featured live music, games and a costume contest.

KSN caught up with the winners, who dressed up as “The Incredibles”.

The family tells us they try to come out every year to support the Kansas Humane Society, as their two pups are rescue pets.

“Sometimes it’s hard to tell who rescued who. They’ve been a part of our life for over 10 years now and just couldn’t imagine life without them,” said Steve Moses, attended Woofstock.

KSN is a proud sponsor of this year’s Woofstock.

All proceeds raised today provide care and compassion for thousands of animals in the Wichita area.
