Christmas came about a week early for a young boy who’s fascinated with garbage trucks.
Two-year-old Remington of Henderson, Kentucky has a profound obsession with garbage trucks. It’s an obsession which started this past summer.
He also shares a personal bond with the sanitation workers.
They say he is always asking them questions, admiring their work and even reminding them how to do their job.
Today (Wednesday) Remington’s friends decided to give him a Christmas present in the form of a ride in the garbage truck.
Isn’t he adorable?
Now, Remington helps keep the workers honest.
“He bosses us up and down the street… tells us make sure we put the lids on the cans and everything,” said Ernie Gibson, sanitation worker.
And his mother hopes he gets some life lessons out of this.
“I’m hoping that gives him an appreciation for, you know, for everyone and every job out there and just every walk of life,” said Whitney Tennyson, Remington’s mom.
