AVON, Ind. (WISH) – A photo of a teen working at a Chick-fil-A in a neck brace and sling has gone viral.

An Indianapolis resident shared the photo on Chick-fil-A’s Facebook page over the weekend after visiting the Rockville Road location in Avon.

The post said they decided to go inside to order their food since the drive-thru line was long. However, they were not expecting to see a man behind the counter working in a sling and neck brace. They said it was commendable to see this man working in that condition.

According to the Facebook post, the worker was in a car accident, but he needed to keep working for the money. He told the customer he wanted to use the money to give back to the homeless for Christmas.

The poster, Cameron Nelson, said he planned to get a few friends to donate to him for the cause.
