A Colorado woman who drove into a large sinkhole and survived is talking about her ordeal.
On Wednesday, crews in Sheridan, Colorado used heavy equipment to remove the SUV that got sucked into the sinkhole Tuesday during a strong thunderstorm.
The driver, 28-year-old Ashley Marisch, was able to climb out of her vehicle and out of the hole before more asphalt and water rushed in.
Marisch says she is still shocked from the accident but says she is grateful to those who came to her aid.
“Thank you everybody who has reached out to me. It means a lot and just kind of overwhelmed on how to put the pieces together after this,” said Marisch.
