INDIANAPOLIS – The first funeral services for the members of an Indianapolis family killed in the Missouri duck boat disaster were held Friday. Services started at 9 a.m. at Grace Apostolic Church.
Nine members of the Coleman family died in the tragedy last week. Tia Coleman and her nephew survived. Tia’s husband Glenn and three children Reece, Evan, and Arya were laid to rest Friday.
The duck boat accident last week in Missouri killed 17 people.
Donations are continuing to pour in for the Coleman family during this extremely difficult time.
A GoFund Me account has raised more than $700,000.
Visitation services for Ervin, Horace, Belinda, Angela and Maxwell Coleman will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday and memorial services will commence at noon at the Easter Star Church location at 5805 Cooper Road.
