GARDEN PLAIN, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has lifted the boil water advisory for Garden Plain.

The order was issued Monday after an equipment malfunction that caused low water pressure in the distribution system. That can sometimes lead to bacterial contamination.

Testing by the KDHE showed the water was safe to use. If you still have questions about your water, please contact the water system at 316-531-2321 or call the KDHE at 785-296-5514.
