SALINA, Kan. – A head-on crash in Saline County left one man with injuries Friday morning.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash occurred shortly after 8:45 a.m. in the 4000 block of Old US 81 Highway.  That’s about a half-mile south of the Salina city limits.

KHP said a 56-year-old man from Lawrence, Kan. driving a 1995 Ford Ranger was northbound on US 81 when he went left of the center line striking a 1986 Kenworth semi pulling a trailer head-on.  The driver of the semi was not injured in the crash.

The drivers of both vehicles were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
