21-year-old arrested after deadly Manhattan shooting

The Riley County Police Department said officers responded to a deadly shooting just after 7:45 Saturday night.

It happened in the 1400 block of Vista Lane in Manhattan. When officers arrived, they found 21-year-old Felix K Flores, of Manhattan, unresponsive with a life-threatening gun shot wound.

Police said he was taken to Via Christi before being life-flighted to Stormont Vail in Topeka where he later died.

Gregoria Baez, 21, of Manhattan was arrested on an offense of involuntary manslaughter. Baez is in the Riley County Jail on a $20,000 bond.

The investigation is ongoing. No other details were immediately released.
