Two homes also sustained damage as a result of high winds and downed trees. Two farms also reported outbuildings destroyed and leveled in Ellis County.

Authorities said numerous power lines were also downed, causing power outages in the county.

The church said today in a post that several Good Samaritans pitched in to get all the big stuff picked up and that repairs are beginning.
