Greg Orman concedes in governor race

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – Independent candidate Greg Orman has conceded in the 2018 midterm race for governor in Kansas.

With 30 percent of precincts reporting as of Tuesday evening, Orman brought in 31,611 votes. The race is now between Democrat Laura Kelly and Republican Kris Kobach, the two candidates with sizable turnouts. Kelly sits at 283,372 votes with a lead over Kobach’s 221,872 votes.
