Ingalls man dies after driving into frozen water in Gray County

GRAY COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) - An Ingalls man passed away after a single-vehicle crash in Gray County Friday morning. 

The Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 10:30 a.m. Friday on County Road 2 just north of U-56. 

Nicholas Davidson, 34, of Ingalls, was driving a pickup truck northbound on County Road 2 when he went off of the road on the right and overcorrected the vehicle. He lost control of the truck and drove off of the road into frozen water. 

Davidson died from his injuries. 

No other people or vehicles were involved in the crash.
