Walmart says it has given many of its U.S. workers a bonus after a strong fourth quarter sales growth.
According to a release, 912,000 of Walmart’s associates in the U.S. will receive a share of nearly $207 million in cash bonuses. The associates received the bonus in the March 7 paycheck.

Both full- and part-time associates are eligible for cash bonuses based on store performance.
“Through the continuous dedication of our associates, Walmart is able to succeed,” said Terry Nannie, Walmart regional general manager. “We are so proud of the overwhelming hard work and dedication they show, which is why we are honored to recognize their commitment to our customers with well-deserved bonuses.”
For the full fiscal year, Walmart U.S. associates received nearly $800 million in store performance-based bonuses. In Kansas, associates shared more than $11.4 million in store performance-based bonuses for the full fiscal year.
