KHP troopers arrest suspect after multi-county chase

A suspect has been taken into custody following a multi-county chase through parts of Kansas. 

KHP Trooper Racy said the suspect was taken into custody east of Kinsley. The chase went through Pratt, Kiowa and Edwards counties. 

The suspect is facing charges from Labette County and other locations west of there. According to authorities the suspect will face charges of auto theft, aggravated battery and other felonies. 

Authorities say another individual was in the vehicle but is unclear if that individual was an accomplice or a victim. 

The investigation is ongoing.
