New Child Support Evaders website successful on the first day

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNW) – After only the first day of launching the state’s new Child Support Evaders webpage, the Kansas Department for Children and Families received a tip, investigated, and located Non-Custodial parent B. Wilson.

The tip was provided through the Evader’s webpage where the reporter provided Wilson’s employer. DCF was able to verify the employer and mailed an Income Withholding Order immediately following the verification. Additionally, DCF sent an Employer Verification Letter to the employer which requires the employer to provide Wilson’s current address, phone number, and income information.

To report the employer information of a child support evader, log onto www.CSSEvaders.dcf.ks.gov. You can also call 1-888-7-KS-CHILD (1-888-757-2445). Tips can be submitted anonymously.
