The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s office will hold a traffic safety campaign on U.S. 54 in eastern Sedgwick County beginning April 1. Travelers can expect to see more law enforcement through April 15.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office will be enforcing traffic laws as part of a safety campaign to reduce traffic accidents. It is supported by a grant from the Kansas Department of Transportation.
Law enforcement will be specifically looking for people speeding, following too close, failing to signal, and failing to obey stop signs and traffic lights. Deputies will also be looking for drivers operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol.
Drivers can expect strict enforcement of all traffic laws.
