Statement from Chemstar:

On January 10, a fire was reported at our McPherson production facility and was quickly extinguished. First and foremost, we are happy to report that everyone at the plant is accounted for and safe. We are always concerned about our employees’ safety and have many safety procedures and protective equipment in place. Right now it is too early to speculate on the cause of the incident, but we are working with local and state authorities to conduct a thorough investigation.

Once the cause of the accident is known, a full review our safety procedures will be undertaken. We will share more information as it becomes available.

We would like to thank the McPherson and other local emergency services for their fast and effective response.
