Movie theaters across the country are participating in an anniversary event that will be sure to make you feel like you are not in Kansas anymore.
The Wizard of Oz will hit theaters again for a three-day special and it’s all in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the classic film set in Kansas and “somewhere over the rainbow.”
But, you’ll have to follow the yellow brick road all the way to Topeka or Lawrence (among a few other Kansas options) to catch a showing. The film will be shown on January 27, 29 and 30.
The showings will also include additional insight from Turner Classic Movies.
