WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A Haysville man was killed, and a Derby man was seriously injured following a crash on Wednesday southwest of Wichita.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened around 11:06 a.m. near MacArthur and Ridge Road. A 2014 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling east when it collided with a 2012 Ford F-150 head-on.
The driver of the Cruze, 32-year-old Nicholas Cox of Haysville, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the F-150, a 27-year-old man from Derby, was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
An investigation is still ongoing.
