Wichita police made 15 arrests in prostitution sting on South Broadway Wednesday.
Officers with the Broadway Corridor team and Patrol South Community Policing team partnered together during the evening.
Police said it was the ninth sting conducted since last August. In total, 85 arrests have been made. Of those arrests, 16 were women and 69 were men.
“We have had crimes of prostitution in this area,” said officer Charley Davidson. “They are targeting the different criminal activity so we can make a positive impact against the crime in the corridor area.”
Police said they will continue to address the criminal activity in the Broadway corridor area.
