Today was a big day for Brian Arterburn, the Wichita police officer who’s recovering after being injured in the line of duty. The city of Wichita has approved his retirement.
The Facebook site for the family says that Brian is sad to officially leave the job, but he knows his sacrifice is appreciated by residents and officers alike.
The post asked that you keep him in your prayers because he has an upcoming surgery on his leg.
