WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Brooks Landfill in Northwest Wichita is closing.
Sustained high winds can create flying debris at the landfill. That debris can cause damage to vehicles, and injure employees and those visiting the dump to dispose of trash and other items.
The landfill plans to reopen Saturday at 8 a.m.
