WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Catholic Diocese of Wichita hosted a blue Mass for first responders Sunday.
Emergency personnel were invited to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception to be honored.
A complimentary brunch was served to first responders and their families following Mass.
The first blue Mass was celebrated on Sept. 29, 1934.
