WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – An arrest has been made in connection to the Wichita child that was stabbed after an argument over a video game.
Police say they were called to the 2200 block of South Glendale shortly after 10:30 Saturday night.
When they arrived they found three boys, ages 9,12 and 13. Police say that while they were playing a video game an argument ensued and a 12 year-old-boy threw a knife at a 9-year-old boy, which caused a minor injury. He was transported to a local hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
Early Sunday morning, officers say they arrested the 12-year-old for aggravated battery and aggravated assault. The case will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office.
