WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Wichita will have to wait much longer than the expected due date for the city plan for the Clapp Golf Course.
Last year, the city decided to shut the course down because it was losing money. A committee was assigned to make a plan to tranform the area.
The committee was supposed to present its recommendation at the May 7 regular city council meeting. It now says the public input was so substantial, it will not have time to make a recommendation by the original due date.
The committee plans to work through summer 2019 to make a plan to present to the city council.
