KSN continues to follow the search for 5-year-old Lucas Hernandez, who was reported missing over three months ago.
Sunday, more people from the Wichita community braved the rain to continue their efforts to bring him home.
The location of the search has not been announced, which is normal protocol.
Officials say even though Lucas has been missing for some time, their drive to bring him home remains the same.
“We put boots on the ground, each and every day,” said Misty Cox, lead searcher with Kansas Search Investigation. “Whether it be a 4-hour search or a 12-hour search, we actually have members of our core team that go out each and every day on an active search, and we will continue until we bring Lucas home.”
Cox said the searchers involved in her searches usually start early in the morning and wrap up the search after dark.
