Crews respond to near-drowning in south Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Wichita emergency crews responded to a near drowning Monday. It happened around 12:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of West MacArthur Road.

Police said a grandmother was with her grandchild at swimming pool. The grandmother suffered a medical problem and passed out and fell into the water. A passerby stopped and pulled her out of the water.

She was transported to the hospital for treatment.
