Crews responding to two-alarm fire in south Wichita business

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Fire crews are responding to a building fire in south Wichita.

According to the Wichita Fire Department, the fire had smoke showing at LORAC Co., a business in the 600 block of E. Harry.

The Wichita Fire Department said in a tweet, a second alarm has been called. People are being asked to avoid the area.

According to authorities with the Wichita Fire Department, the fire started when a welder’s work started the fire inside the building. Authorities said the fire quickly got out of control and it took two response crews to put the fire out.
