The Wichita Police Department will hold a grant-funded DUI saturation patrol on Saturday night.

The department said the patrol will begin at 10 p.m. and run through the night.

Police did not disclose the location of the patrol, but did say several officers and supervisors will be out on the streets looking for impaired drivers.

Police said make sure you have a designated driver. They also advise using taxi services, Uber, Lyft or family and friends.

In Kansas, a first DUI offense usually ends in jail, a fine, probation, and license suspension.
