The video above that KSN captured shows the fire nearly an hour after it began.
The EDFD requested help from the Whitewater, Augusta, Benton, Burns, Cassoday, Leon, Potwin, Rosalia and Towanda fire departments for a water shuttle operation due to a large amount of fire and no hydrants in the area.
Approximately 20 fire apparatus and 38 firefighters helped.
The fire was brought under control around 12:20 a.m. There were no injuries reported.
Due to the extensive damage to the barn, the cause of the fire was undetermined.
