Firefighters in El Dorado responded to a call of a truck leaking a substance Tuesday afternoon. What they found turned out to be a “sticky situation.”
The fire crews were dispatched to a parking lot in the 300 block of S. Village Rd. after someone spotted an unknown substance leaking from a semi-tractor trailer.
When they arrived on the scene, they found a puddle of the substance on the ground leaking from the enclosed trailer.
Officials reported after they conducted a test of the substance, they determined it was non-hazardous. When they opened the back of the truck, they discovered that substance was raw honey.
Crews were able to wash down the area to dilute the honey.
