WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Wichita Fire Department battled a blaze in the southwest part of the city Tuesday around 3 p.m.
The smoke from the fire could be seen from our KSN Skyview network camera.
The fire happened in the area of Dodge and Orient in an old trailer. There were no injuries.
Three engines responded, and it took about five minutes to get the fire knocked down. A ladder truck also responded.
“What they do is allow to get up in the air a little bit and get a better visual to make sure we don’t have anything going north and south. We ended up getting a water supply to them, and they just flowed copious amounts of water and made a knock down on it,” said Chief Kelly Ross, Wichita Fire Department.
The cause of the fire hasn’t been determined.
