Hutchinson man abducted

A Hutchinson man was beaten in his home then abducted on Monday, according to police.

The Hutchinson Police Department reported that a 50-year-old man was in his home when two men forced their way in just after 6:00 p.m. Monday.

According to police, the man was beaten and held at knife point. Personal belongings were loaded into his car and he was forced to get into the passenger seat.

His attacker then drove him to numerous locations in Burrton and then to a farmhouse. When the attacker stepped away from the vehicle, the victim was able to get into the driver’s seat and drove away.

The Hutchinson Police Department was able to recover property of the victim and identify the suspects, Titus Thompson, 38, and Amanda Gresham, 32.

Thompson was arrested on charges of Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Burglary, Aggravated Battery and Criminal Threat.

Gresham was arrested for conspiracy to commit aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary.
