A Wichita business owner is asking why after she says three people forced their way into her store making off with some cash.

“We have been in business here for 15 years and nothing like this has ever happened this major,” says Kim Huynh, owner of Kim Son Asian Food Market.

What she’s referring to is security video her camera’s captured last week.

“I started to head to work about 5:30 a.m., and I got a call from ADT saying my business has been burglarized,” she says.

It happened early on Friday morning.

“I did not think it was going to hit this close to home,” she says.

She says these three people dressed in all black pants and hoodies broke in and in less than five minutes made off with some cash.

“The loss, we can get that back, but I feel like why did they not just tell us if they needed something?” she asks.

If you want to know why Huyhn feels that way, you have to know more about her.

“I feel a little betrayed because we worked hard to get where we were,” says Huynh. “My family came here empty handed. We did not have anything. We just had my mom and dad and brothers.”

Her family came to America from Vietnam with just the clothes on their back. From learning to speak English, getting her masters degree, working three jobs, and opening this business 15 years ago, she is just grateful.

“I just want to let those three individuals that there is opportunity’s out there,” says Huynh,

She’s not looking for vindication, just resolution.

“If they come to me and apologize and they want to keep the cash, then, I will not seek to go any further,” she says. “I just need an apology you know?”

People are asking if you have any information about the three people in the video to contact Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111 or the Wichita Police Department.
