Jetmore deputy found not guilty in death of child


JETMORE, Kan. (KSNW) – A Jetmore deputy was found not guilty of killing his son.

In April 2015, Kody Lee Hanson was arrested after his 2-month-old son died at a Wichita hospital.

Hanson was charged with felony murder and abuse of child. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.

On Friday, Hanson was found not guilty by a Hodgeman County jury on one count of first-degree felony murder and one count of abuse of a child.
