WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Animal lovers are now able to enjoy the updated Kansas Wildlife Exhibit at Central Riverside Park.
It opened after recent improvements from years of fundraising.
“The exhibit is really important to the history of Riverside Park. You know it’s the original zoo, and when the Sedgwick County Zoo was built, what you see here is really the remnants of the old park,” said Brent Thomas, Wichita Parks Foundation.
The goal of the updates is to help visitors learn more about native animals.
