The Kansas City Royals is now offering a peanut free zone in order to welcome people with peanut allergies to the stadium.
Kauffman Stadium is one of Major League Baseball’s first venues to offer a peanut-free area.
Travis Bryant, the Royals’ director of guest experience, said the team will prepare a suite for fans with peanut allergies five times this season.
The suite holds 20 people. It is totally enclosed, with a wide, glass window offering fans in the suite a view of the field.
A ticket to the suite includes food and soft drinks from a peanut-free menu.
The space has a private bathroom.
Fans in the suite never have to leave the room to enjoy the game, which greatly reduces the risk of coming in contact with nuts.
