Kids celebrate Easter a day early at the Sedgwick County Zoo

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Kids got a chance to celebrate Easter a day early at the Sedgwick County Zoo’s Easter Eggstravaganza.

The Easter Bunny hid giant eggs around the zoo for kids to find and on the way out, they counted how many they found to get a prize.

There were also hunts for children with special needs and another for the visually impaired.

“It’s always fun to have fun with the family,” Jay McLaurian, Sedgwick County Zoo’s Security Manager, said. “It’s important that families bond in today’s society, and we provide that type of atmosphere where families can bond here at the Sedgwick County Zoo.”

There was also a photo opp with the Easter Bunny and candy for all the kids to enjoy.
