Local spaghetti dinner helps feed the homeless

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church hosted its annual spaghetti dinner. The event features all you can eat Spaghetti, salad, french bread, and dessert. 

Funds raised goes to area outreach programs, one of which helps feed the homeless.

“So we put on annual fundraisers and portions of that money go towards programs to help fight the homeless,” Rob Scott, an event organizer, said.

Scott said the church serves between 75 and 100 sack lunches to the homeless each week.

The event ran from noon to 7 p.m. at the church which is located in the 1500 block of S. Broadway.
