Over a thousand pounds of unused medications collected during take back event

pills and prescriptions

The National Take Back Initiative in the Sedgwick County area collected expired, unwanted prescriptions, and over-the-counter medications on Saturday. 

During the collection period, 1,746 pounds of medication was collected at the drop-off sites in Sedgwick County.  

The totals collected at each site was as follows:
