WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — One person died in a motorcycle crash in south Wichita just before noon Monday.

The call originally came in that the crash was at 47th Street South and Broadway. However, Sedgwick County dispatchers say the address has been updated to 5800 South Broadway.

The Wichita Police Department said 62-year-old Clay Worley was heading south on Broadway and suffered a medical emergency. The motorcycle hit the curb, crossed the lanes of traffic and hit the other curb before stopping.

Worley was critically injured, and EMS tried to save him, but he died at the scene.

Police say Worley lives very close to the crash scene, and his family members witnessed the crash.
